The Formula 1 in Fuji, Japan roars 12:30pm

The qualifying of Formula 1 racing in Fuji, Japan yields a pole position for Lewis Hamilton, followed by his team mate Fernando Alonso, 3rd Kimi Raikkonen, 4th Fellipe Massa, it's McLaren McLaren, Ferrari Ferrari!!

Alonso might having a little bit problem here as Lewis is in the pole position, and Lewis is currently 2 points in lead over Alonso, if Lewis win this race, then their difference will be separated farther by at least 2 points, which is not a good news for Alonso. Nevertheless, many eyes are on the rookie driver Lewis Hamilton to be the Formula One World Champion, the first career in F1, and the first champion in F1 too!!

The coming must be a very interesting and actions-packed, where tight competition between these 2 McLaren drivers are mostly unavoidable and the race must be a must-see race!! Let's soar F1 in Fuji, Japan!!

No Electrical Supply

Today in the evening the electrical supply suddenly went off and I cannot continue my work, waited with nothing to do, I decided to clear the stuff on my table and now it looks clean and tidy.

Then I call UOB card center to cancel my credit card, mainly because the I was charged an annual fee for the credit card that I seldom use. Guess what, they were happily to reverse the annual fee for me, and I continue to keep my credit card, may be this is how they protect their existing customer base??

More than half hour past and finally the electric supply went back again. So excited I quickly continue my work, though it delayed me a bit, but it left me some little time to settle the thing I wish to settle days ago.

Adding a news feed to my blog

Now my blog can display the most updated news from the topic I like!! I've added news from tgdaily.com, a latest news regarding information technology and computer related; and from formula1.com, the official site for formula 1 racing!!

Adding the news feed is just as simple as writing your blog. First get the feeds URL from the website you would like to add (for example, news feed URL can be gathered from tgdaily.com as here). After you have feed URL, go to your blog template, and choose 'Add a Page Element', choose 'Feed' and provide the feed URL, then you are done, you can display the latest news from whatever website you like, as long as the website does provide the rss / feed technology.

Adding a Clock and a Hit Counter

I've just added a analog ticking clock and a hit counter to my blog!! Anyone interested how to do this for free? It's very simple, just a few steps then you're done.

To add a clock like mine, firstly go to http://www.worldtimeserver.com/clocks/wtsclock001.aspx, and select the color, timezone, and size for your clock. After you have decided to use the clock design, copy the HTML code from the 'Option 1: Object HTML Code'. Next, go to your blog template and choose 'Add a Page Element', and choose 'HTML/Javascript', give your section a name, a "Clock" will be nice, and then paste the HTML code into the content, save and refresh your blog, it's now showing in your blog!!

Note: Your clock may not align center if you copy and paste the code. To make it center, just add a <center> in the beginning of code before anything else, and a </center> at the end of the code, this should solve the problem. For Blogger users, the location title may follow your head title style, if you prefer, you can change this too, just edit the code that reads <h2>Your Location</h2> into <h3>Your Location</h3>, where Your Location is the clock location, which in my case is Kuala Lumpur.

To add a free hit counter to your blog, you have many choices. Just head over to http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answer=42078&topic=8931 and select any link (you can look over some samples there and choose the one you like). I've chosen 'Easy Hit Counter' as my choice, simple and easy. Get the HTML code, and paste it to the Clock section, or you can create a new page element and put the hit counter into a different section, separating from the clock section.

Have fun adding clock and hit counter to your blog!! (works in blogger, have no idea whether it works elsewhere).

Formula 1 in Belgium

Today the Formula 1 race held in Belgium yield a not-so-many action race day. The first in the qualifying won the race, the second finished in second, the 3rd in 3rd, and the 4th in 4th... Not much overtaking nor there's any heart braking action, just a normal and a bit boring race today.

However, Alonso has closed the gap between his teammate Lewis Hamilton in the driver championship by just 2 points, and now it's just left 3 races, must be a tight fighting for the world championship, though Lewis is a rookie in the Formula 1 career, but he seems to be very strong, go ahead Lewis!!

And McLaren will not accumulate any points in the constructor championship as has been penalized for possessing Ferrari technical information, such a tragedy for McLaren.

The McLaren and Ferrari Judgement

I've come across the news that the McLaren team in the Formula One Championship has been penalized for owning and attempted to use the secret information that is belong to the Ferrari, and as of this, McLaren has been judged that its championship constructor points accumulated this year will be forfeited, following races also face the same destiny, and has been fined $100 millions for this illegal act. However, both the drivers, Alonso and Lewis Hamilton, will maintain their points and did not affect their standing in the driver championship.

It was quite a shock to me that the fine was such a huge amount, it's $100 millions!! Can McLaren bear this kind of penalty? How will McLaren respond to this judgement? By the way the Ferrari is satisfied with the judgement.

Upcoming Fireworks Final at Putrajaya

Tonight 10pm will start the fireworks competition final, it's between three countries: Italy, Japan, and another I just forgotten, anyone can remind me? And is followed by a complimentary fireworks by Canada!

Tonight it's expecting heavier traffics as it's the final, but my friends told me that some people are adjusting their mood ready for tomorrow Monday's works / schooling, and this should be lower the traffic? I've no idea and cannot predict it, but I'm going again!!

This final fireworks is expected to perform more than 20 minutes (combination of 3 countries performance plus the Canada fireworks), so I think I can enjoy the fireworks by all the four countries in just one visit, worth isn't? (I guess it worth, at least it's free!)

Need For Speed ProStreet

Need For Speed ProStreet available from 31/10/07 (US)!! A very impressive car racing game with the car being modeled in such a way that it is hard to tell it's a 3D-generated car at first glance! The car is being modeled so detailed that it just looks natural, together with its reflections on the body of the car, perfecting it like a real car!! However, detail lookup will reveal that it has some flaw, especially the detail on the round or ellipse part where it sees multiple straight lines are used to join a circle, this is especially obvious for the Porsche.

The Need For Speed ProStreet from Electronic Arts

My favorite, the Porsche Turbo!!

The RX7

The Toyoto AE86, one that is very famous in the Initial D!!
